Free Agents, From Scratch
The Free Agents page got rebuilt from the ground up — hero banner, college logos, advanced filters, and enough sorting options to make a spreadsheet jealous.
The Full Story
The old Free Agents page was functional the way a phone book is functional — technically all the information was there, but finding what you wanted required patience, squinting, and a vague sense that there had to be a better way. Sorting was limited, filtering was nonexistent, and if you wanted to compare a player's snap count to their draft pedigree you were toggling between tabs like it was 2011.
The rebuilt page starts with a rotating hero banner featuring players from the available pool, because even a research tool deserves a little curb appeal. Below that, position pills give you instant counts — 86 QBs, 132 RBs, 211 WRs — and a search bar handles the 'I know who I want' moments. The new Filters panel lets you slice by NFL team, age range, height, weight, experience, and draft round, all collapsible so it stays out of your way when you don't need it. The Stats view packs in everything from college logos to snap percentages, and the Rankings view syncs with your imported rankings so you can sort by your own board. Every column is sortable, every row opens the redesigned player modal, and the whole thing remembers your last view preference.
Think of it less as a free agent list and more as a scouting department that fits in a browser tab. Use it before the auction to find the undervalued 26-year-old WR2 nobody's talking about. Or use it after to confirm that yes, you did in fact overpay for a 30-year-old running back. The data doesn't lie — it just waits patiently for you to ask the right question.
