Submit Trades from the Trade Builder

Build a trade, review the details, and send the proposal — all without leaving theleague.us.

The Full Story

The trade builder used to be a very fancy calculator. You could model trades, compare cap impact, and generally feel very smart about your roster decisions — but when it came time to actually pull the trigger, you still had to open MFL in another tab, navigate their labyrinthine trade interface, and manually re-enter everything you'd just spent ten minutes perfecting. It had all the workflow efficiency of writing a grocery list and then leaving it on the kitchen counter.

Now you can submit trade proposals directly from the trade builder. Click 'Submit Trade' and you'll get a confirmation modal that shows both sides of the deal — players, draft picks, cap impact — so you can take one last look before committing to whatever questionable decision you're about to make. Add an optional message (diplomacy points matter), hit send, and the proposal goes straight to MFL. The other owner gets it instantly.

But wait, there's more. The new 'My Trades' panel lets you manage all your pending proposals without ever leaving the page. Accept, reject, withdraw, or counter-offer — all with inline confirmation so you don't accidentally accept a trade that sends your franchise quarterback for a conditional 2028 seventh-rounder. Counter-offers load the original trade right back into the builder so you can adjust and re-submit. It's the full trade lifecycle, from 'I have an idea' to 'I regret this already.'
