Auction Command Center
The homepage now transforms into an auction war room during free agent season — every link you need, one click away.
The Full Story
During auction season, you used to open the homepage, stare at whatever feature announcement happened to be there, and then manually navigate to MFL to place a bid, check results, or see who's left. It had all the workflow efficiency of driving to the airport and then remembering you left your passport at home. Every. Single. Time.
Now, the moment free agent auction season opens, the homepage automatically becomes an Auction Command Center. Place Auction Bid gets the big green button treatment front and center. Auction Summary, Auction Details, Completed Auctions — all the MFL tools are one click away. Plus quick links to Free Agents, Trade Builder, Rosters, Historical Salary Trends, and the Calendar so you can plan your next move without tab-surfing. Quick Rules are right there too, because nobody remembers the bid timer rules until they've already lost an auction.
After the initial 30-day hero window, the homepage goes back to normal but keeps a compact auction strip with your most-used links — because auction season runs through August and you'll still need those shortcuts in July. The same system kicks in for the Rookie Draft too, swapping in draft-specific links and a purple theme when draft day rolls around. Think of it as the homepage finally paying attention to what time of year it is.
