Wait — So Do I Still Use MyFantasyLeague?

Short answer: yes. MFL still runs the league and isn't going anywhere. The new FAQ lays out exactly which site does what, why both exist, and — the part worth reading — how an idea you post here turns into something that actually gets built.

The Full Story

It's a fair question and nobody had written the answer down. There's a URL you've used for twenty years and a newer one that keeps showing up in the group chat, and if you've been quietly wondering which of them is the real league, you weren't the only one. The FAQ settles it in one line: both, and neither is going away.

MyFantasyLeague is still the source of truth. It scores every game, stores the official rosters, and enforces the settings. That isn't a limitation we're routing around — a league this old needs a system of record that has already survived twenty seasons, and MFL has done that job the entire time without drama. The old site works. The MFL apps work. Your bookmarks work.

What's new is that the league also has its own app now. MFL has to serve every league on earth, so its screens are configurable rather than specific. Ours only has to serve this one, so it can be specific — which is how you get live scoring built for a phone on the couch, standings with the playoff math already done, and two decades of owner history that MFL has the data for but no page to show. The FAQ carries a plain table of who handles what, so you never have to guess where to go.

And then the part that is genuinely different: the person who can build your idea is in your league. Everyone has fired a feature request into a suggestion form and watched it vanish — not out of rudeness, just arithmetic. Post it on The Board instead and it gets read, argued about by the rest of the league, and — if it's good — filed as real work, usually inside a week. Then it turns up right here in What's New with your name on the thread that started it.

Rule changes still need their 75% vote per the constitution; The Board is where they get pitched, not ratified. Anything about the site itself needs no vote at all — just somebody willing to type it.
