TheLeague's Front Office page showing the team switcher, Extensions and Veteran Extension Candidates cards, and the Front Office Tools sidebar
This Week

Front Office is now your League Planner's home

One page for the whole offseason: extensions, free agent needs, this year's cap picture and next year's draft assets, switchable to any team in the league — with contracts, trades and every salary tool a click away.

The Full Story

New this week

  • Owner Activity is now site analytics: league traffic, per-owner engagement, page reach and app installs — and no transaction leaderboard.
  • Front Office now opens straight into your League Planner — extensions, free agent needs, cap metrics and draft assets — with every contract and trade tool one click away in the sidebar.
  • Signed-out visits are counted now — Owner Activity shows how much of the traffic comes from people who never sign in, and which public pages they read.
  • Schefter's trade-speculation posts now open the Trade Builder with the named team loaded, instead of linking back to the post you just read.
  • Free Agents on mobile: the waiver status is now a small badge you tap for details, so the page gets to the player list without a wide banner running off-screen.
  • New Schedule page: your own season week by week with scores and next opponent, plus the whole league's grid.
  • Schedule now prints the final score in every grid cell, and a season picker reaches back through every season on record — so old scores are two clicks away.
  • On Sunday Ticket, the league and country pickers are now one line each that you swipe left and right, instead of five rows of chips above the board.
  • New Live Broadcast: a second-screen TV board watching every league you’re in — scores, a full-screen reveal when your player scores, a lower-third when your opponent’s does.
  • The Live Broadcast board has a Full screen button for TVs with no keyboard, four games at full size with the rest on one compact row, and three quiet controls instead of a chip per league.
  • Signing in now returns you to the page you were headed for instead of the homepage — from any link, any button, or a session that expired mid-action.
  • A commissioner-only page now tells you it's commissioner-only, instead of silently bouncing you to the homepage with no explanation.
  • Player names on the Front Office planner open the full player card now, and a ⋮ menu on each row manages your own players or adds a free agent to your watch list.
  • Your Throwback Week era now sits on Preferences, right under your clock — same cards, same instant save, one page for all your settings.
  • Free Agents swaps the empty "Last Yr" column for total points — the current season once it kicks off, last season before that — and it finally counts free agents.
  • The Coach tab on Roster & Salary Cap has a new Total column — season points to date, sortable, beside the per-game Avg.
  • Draft picks on the Trade Builder are now listed up front, above the players in the deal — no more hunting for a collapsed Add Pick link.
  • Top Players ranks every player's weekly scores, season total, average and position rank — free agents included. Pick a week to see that week's high scorers.
  • Waiver day on the homepage now gets the full spotlight card: when claims run, and a top free agent to go after.
  • The homepage news card now shows the latest Schefter story — its headline, its byline, and a button that opens that story instead of the news list.
  • Front Office now shows roster analytics — cap allocation, spend and efficiency by position, and your age curve — for any team you switch to.
  • Draft assets on Front Office are now compact chips, with both draft years in one card instead of two tall ones.
  • Tag, extend and cut straight from Front Office — each shows the price and the dead money before you confirm.
  • Cap planning on Front Office: three seasons side by side, with what-if extends, tags and cuts you can save and compare.
  • Live Scoring cards now split the “to play” count per team — two numbers behind a dot in each team’s color, so you can see who still has starters left.
  • MFL Live's board now uses the same scoring cards as Live Scoring, and opening a matchup shows both full lineups instead of a compact list.
  • Live Scoring now runs on the shared board: a red-zone banner, your matchup and the closest game up top, and a clearer note when a league's feed is down.
  • MFL Live at mfl.football/live now keeps everything behind one menu button — the board, your leagues and settings, the league sites, theme and sign out — at every screen size.
  • The MFL league-chooser page can now be installed as an app on your phone, not just the live board — it opens with a Live Scoring link, so Sunday’s scores are one tap from your home screen.
  • The MFL league-chooser page now lists The League and AFL only. Best Ball #1 moved off it — reach Best Ball from the league switcher in the nav, or bookmark it directly.
  • On MFL Live, tap a league's name to open its full board — every matchup in that league, the week's top teams and performances, and the standings. Works for leagues this site doesn't run too. How to use it.
  • Live scoring rows give player names their full width back — position and NFL team moved onto the line with the game clock, so “Jahmyr Gibbs” fits on one line on a phone.
  • Team logos now pick the right artwork for dark mode per club — the Bears show their bear head, the Giants and Jets their proper dark marks instead of a washed-out cut.
  • New NFL Brand Book: a page per club showing every logo we hold, which one each surface draws, and who in the league rosters that team's players.
  • Arizona, Detroit and Washington now have a reversed logo we drew ourselves — no one publishes one — and the Brand Book shows it alongside every other cut, badged "made here".
  • Team branding pages: every club now has a page with its colours, every logo cut on file, and which one each surface draws. Replaces the old asset browser.
  • The Owners' Poll is always open now — your ballot stands until you change it, and the room's result is counted every Thursday at 4pm PT.
  • There's no minimum turnout any more: however many ballots come in, that's the result — and a week nobody votes in now passes quietly instead of announcing itself.
  • The Owners' Poll ballot is off the Set Lineup page — it was a guest on a page you visit to do something else.
  • Each club's Brand Book page now lists all four official colours and says what each one is for, alongside which logo cut to use on a light, dark or club-colour background.
  • Teams from leagues this site doesn’t run now wear their own logos on MFL Live instead of two grey letters — any shape of upload, cropped square to fit.
  • AFL rosters now flag injured players — a red (Q), (O) or (I) beside the name, tap for the body part. Set Lineup shows it too, in both leagues.

Fixes & polish

  • Other — The Bench toggle on a live matchup now reads as a button — a centred pill with a chevron — instead of a small line of grey text that looked like leftover markup.
  • Other — The broadcast board's player rows are fixed — each headshot is back to its circular chip instead of a stretched band of cropped face filling the row.
  • Other — Owner Activity no longer slides sideways on a phone — the Last Seen table scrolls on its own now, instead of dragging the page with it.
  • Other — Fixed live scores on the Live Broadcast board resetting to 0.0 and creeping back up: one league's feed blinking no longer wipes that league's numbers off the screen.
  • Other — Fixed projected scores on the Live Broadcast board reading exactly the same as the live score, which pinned every win-probability bar to 100%.
  • Other — The Live Broadcast board now shows each team's own "to play" count on its row, and one matchup clock that counts down the football you have left instead of the last game to kick off.
  • Other — Team names on the Live Broadcast board no longer truncate beside empty space — the name and its "to play" count take the row's spare width, and the numerals stay flush right.
  • Other — The Tuesday recap hero now opens the week that just finished — that week's scoreboard, every matchup with final scores — and it names the week that was actually played.
  • Other — Schefter no longer hands out season honors mid-season — Top of the Standings, Scoring Champ and Cellar Dweller now wait until the season is actually over.
  • Other — Schefter no longer re-posts a once-a-season column after it ages out of the feed — the 2026 schedule release went to the group chat a second time mid-season.
  • Other — Schefter scans, the rumor mill and Roger lineup reminders are running again after a CI install failure silenced them from Sep 11–15.
  • Other — Owner Activity was dropping visits from some browsers, so owners who use the site read as never visiting. Those visits count now.
  • Other — The player card’s Season Results table showed every week as a bye and 0.00 points. Week 1 scores, opponents and matchup ranks are back.
  • Other — MVPs and Dead Money were counting doubleheader weeks twice in every season since 2007. Points are now correct — and a few past winners changed.
  • Other — Tuesday's Pecking Order and Schefter's columns no longer announce themselves before the site has them — the link now opens this week's column, not last week's.
  • Other — Rosters, scores and transactions now refresh far faster when it matters — every 5 minutes for two hours after waivers run, and every 15 during games.
  • Other — Player cards now show weekly stats for free agents, practice-squad and injured-reserve players — the Season Results table used to be missing entirely for anyone not in a starting lineup.
  • Other — Schefter's waiver report now names the players — real names and positions instead of "Player 16171" — and no longer counts a dropped player as somebody's free pickup.
  • Other — Schefter's news feed and Roger's deadline reminders now arrive on schedule — they ran on a timer that had been dropping most of its runs, leaving them hours late.
  • Other — NFL team logos are current again — the Titans, Rams and Commanders were showing marks their clubs have since replaced, because the old logo source stopped updating.
  • Other — Team logos on the broadcast board and the Sunday Ticket grid now use their dark artwork for everyone — in light mode they were drawing the light logo on a near-black tile.
  • Other — The broadcast board survives being left on overnight — it idles its polling while nothing is live and quietly restarts itself, instead of crashing the TV browser by morning.
  • Other — Standings, playoffs and draft order no longer highlight a random team as yours when you haven’t picked one — and signed-in AFL owners now get their own team by default.
  • Other — Live scoring holds the last scores it could confirm instead of blanking to an error — with a note saying how old they are — and only gives up after five minutes.
  • Live Scoring — Projections for games in progress now blend what’s already been scored with what’s left — 20 at halftime off a 20-point projection reads 30 on Live Scoring and Sunday Ticket.
  • Live Scoring — Live Scoring showed no fantasy matchups during the Wednesday opener — the board now loads its scores directly and keeps polling on any game night.
  • Live Scoring — Live Scoring's matchup view now runs edge-to-edge on a phone — tighter header, roomier player rows, and one more starter on screen without scrolling.
  • Live Scoring — Projected finals and win probability on Live Scoring now use the week being shown, so they stop reading from next week's numbers once Sunday's games are under way.
  • Live Scoring — Fixed the matchup view on MFL Live running off both edges of a phone screen, clipping the team names and scores.
  • Live Scoring — Dark-mode scores on Live Scoring and MFL Live are readable again — a few teams’ colors were nearly invisible on the dark card, so the numbers now use a lightened shade of the same color.
  • Live Scoring — MFL Live said “No matchup this week” for some outside leagues while their teams were being scored. Your real games — both of them, in a league that plays two — are on the board now.
  • Navigation & Routing — A page that breaks now returns a real error page — it says the fumble is on our end and gives you a button to try again, instead of the same “Page Not Found” card a mistyped URL gets.
  • Navigation & Routing — Offseason War Room now opens with League Planner and Rosters — the cap, contract and salary tools live inside the planner rather than in their own menu section.
  • Navigation & Routing — The planner at the top of Offseason War Room is now called Front Office everywhere — menu, footer and search all point at the same page.
  • Free Agents — Players on injured reserve no longer count against your active roster when you add a free agent — the form now shows how many active spots you actually have.
  • Free Agents — Free Agents' toolbar on mobile now fits into two tidy rows instead of three, with Watch List grouped by the view toggles and My Rank by the action buttons.
  • Free Agents — The Auction view on Free Agents now leaves the page when the offseason auction closes and returns on its own when the next one opens.
  • Free Agents — Free Agents was showing last season's snap counts — GP, Snaps and Snap% now track the season being played, and each column is stamped with the year it reports.
  • Free Agents — Projected Free Agents was reporting double points — a doubleheader week counted every performance twice. The totals are now the real ones.
  • Free Agents — The waiver hero said “claims run tonight” from Tuesday afternoon on. It now reads the real processing day and time off the league calendar and prints it in your own clock.
  • Free Agents — Waiver deadlines keep the right hour after the November clock change. They were about to read an hour early, closing claims on the site while the window was still open.
  • Free Agents — The Free Agents list is now live rather than as old as the last deploy, so a player claimed an hour ago no longer shows as available.
  • Set Lineup — The game line on Set Lineup now leads with the network's logo at text size and closes on a bigger opponent helmet — the channel was reading as the headline.
  • Set Lineup — Fixed a crash that blanked the next page with a red error box when you left Set Lineup for your Roster or any other page.
  • Set Lineup — Fixed a mix-up for owners in both leagues: switching leagues from Set Lineup or Players could leave the league you just left still driving the page.
  • Set Lineup — Set Lineup's bench now updates when you move someone: a player you start disappears from the bench instead of showing in both places, and the one he replaced drops back down.
  • Design System & Theming — Team logos on Owner Activity are no longer circle-cropped — every club's mark shows in full, corners and all.
  • Design System & Theming — Every club now carries four brand colours instead of two, taken from official palettes or their own crest art — so team accents and broadcast reveals read as that club, not a stand-in.
  • Design System & Theming — The injury flag’s red was too dark to read on a dark background, and its detail card opened as a white box in dark mode. Both now follow your theme.
  • Calendar — League dates now follow the official NFL schedule — 2026 opened on a Wednesday, so Roger no longer announces the season a day late, and deadlines and playoff weeks track the real calendar.
  • Schefter Report — Schefter can no longer pair a team with a player it doesn't roster — trade-rumor posts now check ownership against the rosters before naming anyone.
  • Schefter Report — Schefter runs at most one trade story a day now, across every lane — and the invented trade-speculation pieces drop to one a week.
  • Schefter Report — Schefter now breaks the news when a trade both sides agreed to is waiting on the commissioner's approval, in each league's own chat. That alert had never fired.
  • Homepage — The homepage hero is game day again — Schefter's weekly recap and previews no longer take it over as breaking news, so that slot is back to real trades and auction wins.
  • Schedule — My Schedule on Schedule now wears your club’s colours and crest instead of the league’s — the league grid keeps the league look.
  • Rosters — In dark mode the Coach tab’s Avg, weekly-score and opponent labels were near-black on the dark table. All three now use colors that invert with the theme.
  • Franchise Pages — Dark Magicians of Chaos wear their real palette now: a deep indigo primary, plus the cyan from their crest as a third brand colour. Their old one was a navy that appeared nowhere in their art.
  • Standings — Pecking Order cards now show each team’s logo beside its name, so the write-up gets the full card width on your phone.

Everything above shipped in the week of Sep 8-22. Older weeks are in the archive, and the how-to pages for each feature live in the guides.
