Sunday Ticket Stopped Clocking Out At Kickoff

The multiview board now keeps going once the games start: every player on it shows his live fantasy points instead of a projection, and your own matchup sits up top with both crests and both scores — in every league you play in, on one page.

The Full Story

Sunday Ticket had one job and it did it beautifully for about four hours a week. It read every league you're in, worked out which four games had the most of your starters on the field, and told you what to put on the multiview. Then at 10:00 AM Pacific it put up a banner pointing at Live Scoring and effectively closed for the afternoon — right at the moment anybody actually cared.

It doesn't do that any more. Every player row on the board now carries his live fantasy points in that league's scoring, and each league's running total sits above its own group. Sit a guy in TheLeague and start him in the AFL and you'll see both numbers, side by side, counting differently — because they are different leagues and they always were.

Above the board, your own game. One card per league, your crest against your opponent's, both live scores, and how many starters each of you still has to play. If you're in both leagues you're watching two matchups on one page instead of two tabs. Doubleheader week gets two cards, because of course it does.

The numbers refresh themselves about once a minute while games are being played and then back off once everything's final, and the little Updated pill tells you when the board last actually heard from MFL — a board that says "live" and hasn't been confirmed since noon is not live, and now it says so. Lose your connection mid-afternoon and the scores you already have stay put rather than blanking out.

One deliberate omission: leagues from outside this site still show projections only. We can read your rosters there, but not their live scoring — those cards say Projections only rather than quietly showing you zeroes. TheLeague, the AFL and Best Ball are all live. And Live Scoring is still the deep cut when you want box scores and the scoring ticker; Sunday Ticket is now the wide shot.
