Salary Analytics
Explore salary benchmarks by position with starter averages, medians, and full player breakdowns.
The Full Story
The Salary Benchmarks page has been promoted to Salary Analytics, and the upgrade is roughly equivalent to going from a box score to a full analytics department. Every position now displays starter average and starter median based on realistic league starter counts — not just the overall average that gets dragged down by the deep bench players making league minimum.
Browse the complete ranked salary list for any position with a Show More button to reveal the full depth chart of spending. The year selector lets you compare salary trends across every season back to 2021, and weekly snapshot switching shows how values shifted throughout the year — useful for tracking how that mid-season blockbuster trade reshaped the market.
The addition of the Export to Excel button means you can now download a multi-sheet workbook with one tab per position for whatever offline analysis your inner data scientist demands. For the owners who built their entire draft strategy in Excel — you know who you are — this one's for you.
