ESPN Player Headshots

Player cards across the site now display actual human faces instead of the featureless silhouette placeholders that made every roster look like a witness protection program. Real ESPN headshot photos have been integrated across all player-facing components, displayed at 150% zoom for a clean, cropped presentation.

It's a cosmetic upgrade, yes, but there's something to be said for being able to visually identify the players you're investing millions of cap dollars in. The system falls back gracefully to MFL photos when ESPN data isn't available, and to a default placeholder as a last resort — so even the most obscure practice squad player gets some kind of representation.
