League Rules
Best ball is the simplest format in fantasy football, and the rulebook shows it: draft well once, then watch. Everything else is detail.
The Format
- 12 teams. One league, no conferences, no divisions.
- Best ball scoring: your highest-scoring players fill your starting slots automatically every week. You never set a lineup.
- No waivers, no free agents, no add/drops, no trades. The roster you draft is the team you ride all season.
- Season standings come from weekly head-to-head matchups scored on MyFantasyLeague.
The Draft
- One startup draft per season: 25 rounds, snake order, 12 teams — 300 picks total.
- The draft runs live on this site in the Draft Room, with a pick clock set by the commissioner (typically 1–2 minutes).
- Draft order is randomized before draft night unless the commissioner announces a different method.
- Miss your pick and the clock runs out? Auto-pick takes the best player available by ADP, so nobody's roster gets torpedoed by a bathroom break.
- When the final pick is in, results are imported to MyFantasyLeague as the official rosters.
Rosters & Scoring
- Rosters are 25 players, locked at the end of the draft. Injuries, byes, and busts are part of the game — draft depth accordingly.
- Draftable positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, PK, and team defenses.
- Starting-slot structure and scoring rules are configured on MyFantasyLeague — see the league settings there for the authoritative numbers.
- Playoff weeks and bracket format follow the MFL league calendar.
League Matters
- Entry fees, payouts, and prize structure are the commissioner's call — announced before the draft each season.
- The league re-forms on MFL each summer; returning owners keep their franchise slot.
- Disputes go to the commissioner, whose ruling is final. It rarely comes up — there are no moves to dispute.
